POI-0019-COM — SatCOM Class A for ATM
The use of Class A Satellite Communication systems for Air/Ground datalink will support ATC and AOC as well as voice services over continental and oceanic airspace, based on ATN/IPS networks, either in stand-alone or Multilink environments. This POI will provide improved datalink performance meeting ATN-B2 (and beyond, ATN-B3 once defined) requirements (latency, availability, continuity) and secure communication.
