Solution PJ.15-09 — Delegation of services and contingency

The delegation and/or contingency of airspace allows to delegate the airspaces between ATSUs.
Delegation will be possible both in case of predefined event, triggered by traffic and organization specific needs, or in case of a contingency caused by an unexpected event.
A seamless ATS service provision in the delegated airspace will be guaranteed, as well as the air navigation quality and safety.
The possibility to delegate the airspace under certain condition of traffic can allow cost optimization and load balancing. Furthermore the higher availability of potential ATCOs in different ATSUs will increase the global capacity for peaks period.
