TS-0301 — Integrated Arrival Departure Management for Full Traffic Optimisation on the Runway

A full integration of arrival and departure management processes provides dynamic assistance to the Tower controllers to optimize runway throughput. Additionally to runway throughput optimization, making best use of variable taxi time, minimum separations and runway occupancy time could optimize arrival/departure spacing.

Rationale
Full integration of arrival and departure sequences, taking into consideration new wake turbulence separations within the execution phase, will allow for a better runway throughput and a more optimized arrival/departure spacing. Therefore, overall delay will be reduced and predictability of TTOT/TLDT and overall runway capacity will be increased.
