POI-0009-MET — Provision of MET data as SWIM services (Yellow Profile) relevant for En-route and Network operations
Dedicated MET information (observations, nowcasts and forecasts) will be provided by MET systems as SWIM services. Dedicated and specialized information services are provided as required by operational context. As MET systems belong to enabling solutions, the delivered MET information will enable ATM systems for En-route and Network operations to achieve their operational improvements.
- Rationale
- This POI is meant to serve as a system engineering artifact in DS18 that links to operational OIs and METEO-Enablers. However, for DS19 differentiation into specific and more concrete POIs is proposed. The meaning of specific is here that the POI shall link to only one operational context and METEO enablers needed only to mature this.
